Scientists and Science: Through the Artist’s Eye is a new program of the American Geophysical Union. This first year will feature my art and that of Jennifer Smith in two separate exhibits in the donors’ lounges at the upcoming annual meeting of AGU in San Francisco December 14-18. To date, there is no time for the general public to view this art.

Lincoln County, Kentucky – a new library

from the Geological Survey of Kentucky
Susan has been commissioned to make a piece of art for the new Lincoln County Library in Stanford, Kentucky to be opened in late 2009. She is currently researching aspects of the county which she did not know as a child – the research is being posted on a blog at http://lincolncogeo.blogspot.com/ . Watch and learn!

This is the second and last weekend of the Boulder Open Studios Tour. I’ll be in my studio from 12 – 6 on Saturday and Sunday. The address is 4949 North Broadway – studio 102 c – and listed as Studio 108 in the Open Studio Catalog.
